Children for Children -- $10 will cover craft supplies and refreshments for one

Lower Eastside Girls Club Walk-A-Thon for Girls' and Women's Health -- $100 will fully sponsor one alumni walker in this fundraising effort

Or any gift from $10 to $100 will help YAAMNY facilitate and sponsor alumni volunteers for the benefit of an extraordinary range of local community projects

Yale alumni have an unparalleled tradition of service to others and a strong sense of civic responsibility.

From Dwight Hall’s student-led community based programs to the highest levels of government service, Yalies have given of themselves to change the world. Generations of students have gone forth with a selfless dedication to the service of society.

This unites us. Many alumni have risen to this challenge to serve as volunteers for Yale; or in our professional lives as leaders in the nonprofit sector, on boards of foundations, or as elected officials; or by giving of our intelligence and creative energy to volunteer community projects.

We know that alumni want to “give back,” and YAAMNY wants to give voice to this dedication. We want to enable alumni in Metropolitan New York to come together as Yalies to share our wealth of talent, depth of education, and visionary leadership as a force for change for the common good.
